What microblading is

Microblading places fine strokes of pigment in the upper layer of skin to look like natural brow hair. It can fill gaps, even out the two brows, and give a shape that frames your face. Because it is cosmetic tattooing, the work is semi-permanent, so the shape and color should be decided with care and without a rush.

Is microblading right for you?

Microblading suits people with sparse, over-plucked, or uneven brows, and people who would like to stop penciling them in each morning. It is not an instant fix. The color and shape settle as the brows heal, and the final look may take more than one visit to reach. If you want shape without a semi-permanent service, we will tell you honestly that brow waxing, tint, or lamination may be a better start. Tell us about your brow history when you book.

Brow mapping and your consultation

Our Service Menu lists a Microblade Consultation. Madi Feeney measures your face and maps the brow shape that fits your features. She shows you the shape before any pigment goes in, so you can approve it or ask for changes. She also asks about your health, your skin, and any medications, and will tell you if the timing is not right.

The appointment, step by step

After mapping and color choice, we talk you through each step and check in as we go. She then creates the strokes one at a time, following the direction your natural brow hair grows. A perfecting appointment follows, because healed brows often need small adjustments, and our menu lists touch-ups for later.

Touch ups and color boosts

How long it lasts depends on your skin, sun exposure and aftercare. Later touch-ups are on our menu as a Microblade Touch Up and a Microblade Color Boost, so you can keep the shape sharp and the color fresh over time.

Healing and aftercare

Brows go through a healing period, and they can look darker at first before they settle. Keep them clean and dry as directed, do not pick at flaking skin, avoid heavy sun, and follow the aftercare sheet your microblader gives you. If you like a complete eye look, ask about eyelash extensions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does microblading hurt?

We talk you through each step and check in as we go. Ask your microblader how comfort is managed before you book.

How long does microblading last?

Your skin, sun exposure and aftercare all play a part. A touch-up appointment can keep the brows looking fresh.

Is a consultation required?

Yes. New microblading begins with one. A consultation lets your microblader map your brows, match the shape to your features, and answer your questions before the service.

What is a color boost?

A color boost refreshes the pigment in brows that have softened over time. It is a separate service on our menu from the touch up.

What should I avoid after microblading?

Do not pick at the brows, keep them clean and dry as directed, and avoid heavy sun while they heal. Your microblader will give you full aftercare instructions.
